Old and Rusty

Ford Consul Mk 1 early 50's

I might be old and rusty but it's not about me!

My husband loves to take photos of things old and rusty so here are some photos he has taken as I just don't have much else to write about.

When we are travelling around, he will put the brakes on and do a u-turn and I know now that he has spotted something in a paddock that to me just looks like some junk but to him it is Gold!

I hope some of you will enjoy the photos, but I won't post too many as it is probably not everyone's passion.  I enjoy old and rusty too, but more like old gates, houses, bridges.

We hope to get away and do some travelling in our caravan soon, so I will post some more interesting sights from our travels.  We're not sure yet where we will go as it will depend on the weather.  We are getting fussy in our old age.

Hope I get some comments, and that you are well.

  5. I rather like old and rusty, especially cars, gates and fences. Hope you have a good journey. We have slowed down and our long trips are no longer, but hope to squeeze in short trips when Bill gets better.

  6. These are great, I love rusty old things too. I have a few on my blog but don't get to see them as have cut down on our travels somewhat. So nice to see your photos.

  7. I love, love, love seeing old and rusty things. As Di said, they make great photos but they also speak of a previous life.
