Is No News is Good News?

Singing in the sprinkler!

Good evening fellow Bloggers,

This is the news!

I am well, thank goodness, but have not been out and about much since before Christmas and haven't felt I  have had anything interesting to post about.  The other blogs I follow always seem to be so very interesting.  I had thought I would stop blogging as my life is mostly the same day after day.

Over the last few weeks I have enjoyed  reading the blogs I have followed over many years, and although I don't always comment, I do enjoy reading the blogs and also the comments others leave.

Today, as I sit at my laptop reading the blogs, I have decided that I will resume my blog but possibly only post when I feel the "urge", if you know what I mean.  I hope those of you that blog will understand, I think it is something bloggers go through from time to time, a bit like a writer's "block".

Anyway, I will not write much more and will just show some photos of what my rather mundane  life has been like and hope you find it of some interest and if you do, please leave a comment as the comments are a big part of my enjoyment of blogging.

I hope life will begin to pick up a bit for everyone, especially here in Australia, as Covid is more under control here, and when school holidays end in a few weeks, then we will feel more at ease getting out and about without the crowds that there seems to be at present.

I picked some of my hydrangeas for my daughter and she suggested I get my brushes out and do some painting, so this is it.  Acrylic on canvas.

I have been spending more time in the garden, and the hydrangeas are beautiful this year, but I won't take the credit for them as the weather here has been milder than most summers in Adelaide.

An evening down at the beach on a warm night.
